Terry Gore is a BACP Accredited Counsellor, Supervisor and Trainer who has worked extensively with all forms of Neurodiversity. He has worked in schools, the NHS and private practice.

The day will cover:

• Barriers to Therapy

• Theoretical knowledge about Neurodiversity and how quickly this is developing. This will include overlaps between diagnoses.

• The benefits of profiling.

• Othering and how traditional ideas about ND affect development and sense of self

• How to tailor your approach (modality, pace, boundaries, communication) to support neurodivergent clients effectively.

• The role of diagnosis and the trauma associated with navigating mental health and diagnostic pathways.

Once you book on to the course you will have the opportunity to let Terry know about any specific topics you would like covered in the training.
